Beth Lambert

Beth is the Director of Innovative Teaching and Learning at the Maine Department of Education where she leads a wide range of innovative, covid-response initiatives that provide important and necessary support to students and educators. In this role, Beth also leads the Learning Through Technology Team, which supports the effective integration of technology into instruction and works to eliminate the digital learning divide in Maine  through programs such as the Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI). 

In her nearly 20 years in education Beth has been a school administrator as well as taught at the middle and high school levels where she served in a leadership capacity around standards, curriculum and assessment, student-centered teaching and teacher leadership. 

In addition to her day job at the Maine Department of Education, Beth is a MSAD 49 school board member from Fairfield.

Beth holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in teacher leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
